“Ms. Dore, should I go get my photography binder from upstairs?”

“Yes, Natalia. Go now.”

I got up to leave the photography room, but there were two girls blocking the door. I was pushing my way through and asked my friend Jessica if she would open the door for me. “You’re skinny, you can fit through this small crack,” she said. I tried to fit through the petite crack in the door, but as I was trying to get out, my inside leg caught in something in the room, and I fell face down. I fell on my many bracelets, which pinched my hands upon impact. It hurt a bit, so I moaned from the pain. Then, I realized it was a little funny since everyone was staring from my photography class, so I started laughing to myself. After a good three minutes of my laughs/moans, I got up to my feet. I then opened the photography door a tad, so my inside leg could rejoin the rest of my body.

Embarrased as I already was, I turned around and saw  Abigail Kundsen, Danielle Niderman leading a tour group. They were all staring at me in awe. Abby’s face had a puzzled expression; she looked like she had just seen a ghost. I could feel my cheeks turning to a scarlet red as I started to walk past them. If things couldn’t get any more embarrassing, the mother on the tour pulled me over and asked,

“Are you okay?” She seemed deeply concerned.

“Yes, thank you.” I responded. As I walked away, she just stared with the rest of the tour at me.

Later that night, I was talking to Abby on Facebook, and she told me that the mother on the tour was truly worried about me. She even told Abby that she was nurse and could help me! I just could not stop replaying the moment of that embarrassing encounter. Just another normal day at the Hewitt School, I guess!
