Tuesday, November 19th, was a very nostalgic day for all of Gen Z. Disney released a streaming service called Disney+, which allows all of us Generation Z kids to relive our childhood. So, if you’re still trying to figure out if you really need Disney+, let me help you. First off, the price to get a subscription to Disney + is pretty good, only $7 a month, while Netflix is on the more expensive side which is $10.99 a month. Right now, all everyone is talking about is all the shows Disney+ offers such as, Suite Life on Deck, Hannah Montana, and a new HSM series spin-off called, High School Musical, The Musical Series. Which personally I’m not a big fan of, because I don’t want aTV show about a bunch of teens putting on an actual performance of High School Musical.

Disney+ also has a brand new Star Wars series The Mandalorian, that can only be watched if you have a subscription. So that’s a big yes for all the Star Wars fans out there who can’t get enough of the galaxy far, far away. Disney+ only has been out for a week, but it’s already Netflix’s biggest rival. Netflix has been worried since Disney revealed they would come out with a streaming service. Even though Netflix has spent billions on making hit TV shows like Stranger Things, kids and teens are rushing to watch the hit TV shows on Disney+. If you’re a teen like me, who feels nostalgic and wants to watch all of the hit tv shows that we all grew up with, you’re going to want Disney+. Even though Netflix costs more they still have loads more content than Disney+, but to tell the truth who wouldn’t pick Hannah Montana or Suite Life on Deck over Stranger Things.
