The Hewitt Varsity Soccer team achieved record victories recently—two wins in just one week! The soccer team has not done this well in years, at least as long as any upper-schooler can remember. What could be the cause of this wonderful anomaly? “I think our team this year is really connected with each other, and we all get along really well [which is] really important in a team. It doesn’t just take skill; it takes a strong bond with each other,” said Victoria M. ’14, a main player on the team. The two games which Hewitt won 3-0 and 5-1 were against Friends Seminary, and the Education First International Academy, respectively. Victoria said that the victories “make [her] feel very happy and accomplished.” Keep up the good work, Hawks!
