It’s time to pack up your beach bags filled with bathing suits and flip flops and trade them in for some new fall trends. This fall, biker jackets are a must-have because they easily add dimension and depth to any look. Pair these with leggings, an oversized shirt, and boots, and you’ll be ready to hit the streets of NYC in no time! Another trend is the boyfriend blazer–the perfect addition to your wardrobe when the weather becomes chilly.  Wear this look casually by pairing it with a scarf, or dress it up by combining a skirt, some fabulous jewels, and, of course, a classic pair of pumps.  Another interesting trend this fall is wacky furs. From fur trims to colored furs, you’ll be ready to hit the runway. Polka dots are also “in,” and we’re seeing lots of them (i.e. Zara’s new forest green and white polka dot blouse). Jackets and tights are particularly eye-catching; for a look with more statement, try a metallic, shimmery pair—you’ll definitely stand out from the crowd.

Since this summer, colored jeans (J Brand, Current Elliot, and Rag & Bone, just to name a few) have been seen everywhere. The colors we loved this summer such as royal blue and red are back for fall/winter, but in heavier fabrics. Pairing up colored jeans with simple sweaters is a way to seamlessly transform your look from the warmer months to the colder months.

For handbags, statement clutches are back for the season, but in to-die-for neutrals. Clutches are the way to go when out for a night on the town, so keep your eye out for one that will match all the fabulous new additions to your wardrobe.

Another trend that seems to be all over the place is python and leopard shoes. Every brand from Ninewest to Brian Atwood has come out with these funky shoes. Whether pairing them with jeans and a t-shirt, or a fancier look (maybe a cute frock?), python and leopard shoes will make your outfit chic and undoubtedly bold.
